Overview
Socio-economic empowerment in the textile field of women who cannot access formal studies. In 2018, the project was launched with 15 young girls who received training in basic and advanced dressmaking, basic accounting and small business management. They are accompanied throughout the process of finding job opportunities. In 2021, 7 of them set up two small businesses, and the Isabel Martín Foundation continues to support them through another project. At the same time, the second and third editions of the Tenesú project were created in 2021 and 2022, with 15 more young women per edition. From the outset, a basket-making group was also set up by older women as a social meeting point and a small income-generating activity.
